A Call To Prayer

On January 27, 2025, a default judgment was entered by a Collin County judge against the benefactor who purchased 1611 Wilmeth Rd. The benefactor, who is the defendant in this case, has filed an appeal, and a hearing has been scheduled for Monday, March 31. While Converge Church is not a party to the lawsuit, the outcome of the hearing on March 31 could potentially impact our ability to continue to occupy and use the facility.

A Call to Prayer

Matthew 18:18-19 AMPC 19 Again I tell you, if two of you on earth agree (harmonize together, make a symphony together) about whatever [anything and everything] they may ask, it will come to pass and be done for them by My Father in heaven. 20 For wherever two or three are gathered (drawn together as My followers) in (into) My name, there I Am in the midst of them.

Considering these circumstances, we are inviting you to join us over the next 15 days for a season of prayer and fasting as follows:

  1. Pray with us daily in agreement with the strategic prayer points listed below
  2. Fast with us daily from 6 a.m. – noon (or later according to your ability)
  3. Join us for corporate prayer in the worship center on Wednesday, March 19 and 26 respectively at 7 p.m.

Strategic Prayer Points

  1. Uncommon favor with the judge and all decision makers through this entire process (Proverbs 21:1).
  2. Uncommon favor with the plaintiffs and their legal team (Proverbs 16:7; James 2:13).
  3. Wisdom, clarity and strategy concerning what we must do now and what we must do next i.e. beyond March 31 (James 1:5; Isaiah 30:21; Acts 6:10).
  4. Perfect peace for our entire church family as we walk through this process together (Philippians 4:6-8; Isaiah 26:3)
  5. For a notable miracle that is undeniable and evident to all (Acts 4:16).
  6. That no weapon formed against us will prosper and that God will put a supernatural hedge of protection around our church family (Isaiah 54:17; Isaiah 59:19)
  7. That in all of this, our God is glorified, that His perfect will is done, and that no reproach comes to His Name or His Church (Romans 8:28)

Our faithful God will do again what He’s done countless times before.

Luke 1:37 AMP 37 For with God nothing [is or ever] shall be impossible.

Luke 1:37 AMPC 37 For with God nothing is ever impossible and no word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfillment.

James 5:16b AMPC The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working].

Still amazed by his grace!
