Advent, from the Latin adventus, simply means “coming”. On the Christian church calendar, Advent is the period of preparation for the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ at Christmas. To celebrate Advent, we are kicking off our church-wide, 25-day Advent devotional reading in YouVersion. We invite you to join us daily as we interact with God’s Word together.
