Mark 12:17 NKJV And Jesus answered and said to them, “Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.”

Early voting is underway in Texas and across the United States. What does this mean for you? Jesus, in Mark 12:17, admonished the crowd to “Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s…” In our contemporary context, this verse speaks to more than just paying taxes; it is about the faithful stewardship of one’s civic duty as a Christ follower. And among those civic duties is the right to vote. Voting is your right as a law abiding citizen of the United States and your responsibiility as faithful disciple of Christ.

Do not take it for granted. Do your research. Be prayerful. Get out and vote.
